Information for visiting Barra De Navidad

Barra De Navidad Info

Barra de Navidad is a tiny but enchanting fishing village in the center of the Costalegre region of Mexico. The towin is build on a sandbar seperating a giant lagoon from the Pacific.

The beaches of Barra are just pristine and gorgeous. The waves make for some fun and easy surfing, and when the water is calm it is perfect for snorkeling and diving.

Barra has many attractions to offer including: restaurants, stores, water sports, multiple fishing tournaments each year, and both the Isla de Navidad Golf Course and the El Tamarindo Golf Course for world class golfing.

We really suggest checking out the outlying regions by taking a boat or a car to the La Manzanillo bay to see the crocs, eltamarindo, careyes, and chamela.

Barra de Navidad is can be found on the Pacific Coast 130 Miles just below Puerto Vallarta and 180 Miles southwest of the major city of Guadalajara.

The nearest international airport is the "Manzanillo" International Airport which is only 30 minutes away.

The temperatures are ideal, hovering around 85 during the day and down as low as 60 in the night.

Barra de Navidad really is a little slice of paradise. Check it out next chance you get!
